The Beats Fit Pro excels in this regard, getting up to 6 hours of listening time with Active Noise Cancellation turned on and 7 hours with Active Noise Cancellation and Transparency turned off.

Including the charging case, the Beats Fit Pro and AirPods Pro can extend the total use time to 24 hours, while the AirPods 3 generation is a total of 30 hours. All three offer fast charging, giving you an hour of use in just 5 minutes, which Beats calls “Fast Fuel.”

Features

Because it is a parent company, there will obviously be a lot of intersection between Beats Fit Pro and AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro. They both use the same H1 chip and offer a very similar set of features.

That means they all have deep iOS integration, one-touch pairing, automatic switching between Apple devices, sharing audio with another pair of Beats or Apple audio accessories, and support for “Hey Siri.” There’s also spatial audio support, dynamic head tracking, and support for finding lost headphones.

Perhaps the biggest functional difference among the three is that the AirPods 3 does not have active noise reduction. As for the sound of the Beats Fit Pro, it features a custom acoustic platform with dual-element diaphragm drivers in a two-chamber housing, and an advanced digital processor for optimized audio. In use, the Beats Fit Pro sounded better than the AirPods 3, thanks to the silicone cap. It produces clearer sound and more solid bass.

But this kind of competition is actually not obvious. When it comes to connecting to Android, Beats does a better job. While the AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro can also connect to Android via the usual Bluetooth pairing, the functionality is somewhat limited, and Beats offers some of the same features on Android for its audio devices that it does on iOS.

Just looking at the Beats Fit Pro’s specs, it’s easy to see that it will go up against the AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro, especially since there’s so much shared technology.
